In Co-operative Education, students apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the classroom to out-of-school experiences through individualized training plans. These expectations are fully integrated into the education process so that learning and experiences are combined. Students are placed in roles that provide challenging opportunities where they will learn by doing.

Any student, regardless of their post secondary destination, can consider Co-op Education. All students in Co-op Education will be involved in pre-placement workshops and on-going integration sessions. Students should be 16 years of age and have at least 16 credits prior to their placement in the program.
