The SCDSB Student Handbook contains required information for all students and families. The Student Handbook is located on our school website elm.scdsb.on.ca under ‘students’.
SchoolCash.NET is the method of submitting all mandatory forms as well as payment for all school related activities including sports, field trips, student cards and dances. To set up an account go to https://simcoecounty.schoolcashonline.com/. Once your account is created, you can add your student(s) by using their student number which can be found on your child’s report cards or contact our main office for assistance.
Student Activity Fees are $30.00. This includes student ID cards which are mandatory for students to participate in activities taking place throughout the school year and are paid via SchoolCash.NET
Bus Information EDHS is in the North Zone but we have some students who live in the West Zone. When North Zone buses are cancelled, NO students will be transported, even if the West Zone buses are still running. When West Zone only buses are cancelled EDHS West students will be transported. Absence Reporting All absences, lates and requests to leave early for students under 18 years of age must be reported by a parent/guardian by calling 1-888-885-8065. Students with unexcused absences will receive an automated phone call home. The Safe Arrival Program is optional for Grade 7/8 Parents/Guardians to receive an automated phone call when their student is marked with an unexcused absence.
Parent Portal is a secure online tool that provides parents/guardians of students under 18 with quick access to their children’s attendance and grades. To create an account visit http://ps.scdsb.on.ca. To attach students to your parent portal please contact our main office for the student number and Access ID.
Lockers Students will be issued a locker and may bring their own combination lock from home or purchase one from the main office for $11.00. Locks with keys are NOT permitted.
Cafeteria The café is open before school and during lunch and has several nutritional options for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks. The café accepts debit and credit cards as well as cash.
